I hate threads like this!

PEOPLE argue for like 4-6 pages at the end of the thread some one will say it is just a drivers race and it will end like the other 857324097502498572 s2000 vs 350Z threads I seen.

I own both and with the same driver both cars could yeild the same times each car has its pros and cons.

There is no car in the world that is the perfect catch for everything.

New rims does make the deductabile disappear. I had to explain the same logic to my wife. Same as the CF hood. If it gets in a wreck, we actually make a profit. If the wheels get stolen, we make a huge profit. Can't be beat as long as Nissan keeps those replacement prices high.

I wanted to put that video on my Myspace but for some reason it didn't work.. ahh well. I love both of the cars. Were they stock for stock? I know the S2K would do better in cornering but that was just a straight away. Again both have ups and downs.

I was explaining myself last night and it shutoff so, here's the short version.

I agreed with you about what you said and how people like to hate on everything they don't own. This is a natural occurence because we all want to think what we bought is the best.

So when I said I'm glad I down own any car I don't own, it was a joke. ha!

And then I though in I'm glad I don't own two of the cars you own, because I own one of them.

And after explaining it I get a...dee dee dee.

funny, this reminds me a Friday night Z meet we had a few weeks back.

So we cruise down to a meeting place and there are a ton of cars there. I mean straight out of 2F2F. Rice this, rice that, rice everwhere. Now there are two girls in my club that were there who can drive pretty damn good. They start instigationg these 2 guys that have S2K's. One is F/I w/ really low boost, the other has a few N/A mods with a clutch/flywheel. THe girls only have minor N/A mods like CAI and one has a clutch/flywheel. So the guys happily accept their proposal to go down to another street and have a few runs at each other. Guys were kinda talking sh!t to the girls about how they drive, etc. etc. Well, the first race happens w/ the FI S2K and what do you know, she beat him by 2 car lenghts in the 1/4 strip. Next run is the guy with the clutch against the other girl, she smoked him, and then repeated it 3 times as he complained about his gearbox. (S2K has one of the best gearbox's out there). We all stood back and laughed as the 2 guys drove away with their heads down because they just got smoked by the girls.

This night proved to me that being a good driver, not just having a fast car, really makes the difference when racing side by side.

No such thing as an AUTO S2000 they ALL come in stick.

They are only fast up top because of VTEC and the flat torque band they have which does not die out until 8800, car redlines at 9000.
