*VID* My TT Z vs G37 GTM Stage 2 TT
Friend of mine recently took delivery of his car back from Cali. We knew what the outcome would be, but we ran for fun. I was at my lowest boost 605whp, I had a passenger he did not and I told him to hit it when he was ready. Run was 40-140mph barely into 5th for me...
He was at his 535whp setting, he didnt get directions from GTM (yet) on how to up the boost or what settings are what on his boost controller lol...
Anyways, enjoy

wow, his car is pimp but you're car is bad ass man. Thanks for posting the video I love seeing it in action man. You drilled him on your lowest setting but seems like he would do pretty well against a regular TT Z no? Anyways nice run bro!

Man, your car is badass. Did ever race the R6? I've seen your videos where you go to 173mph, and I'm almost sure you'd beat, or be even with my 1000RR. Crazy.

The R6 is a good friend of mine. We have already run numerous times but never on video. This will be the next youtube vid
He has a full exhaust, with Bazzaz piggyback. From 60-70mph, me in 3rd gear him in 2nd gear we are dead even initially or I slightly pull, as I row through the gears I pull out on him. One run we did into top of 5th I had like 5 cars on him. That is me at low boost! We will do a low boost and a high boost run.
I will def post it when we make it happen. I highly doubt I could beat a liter bike!!!
The G37 is bada$$, riding in it was impressive the linear powerband is awesome and he even hooks decent in 2nd on stockers.

I had done everything up to the point of the stock block failure, including the TN install, guages, axles (4X ouch), suspension, brakes, you name it-other than tuning.
Now I get "helped" with the work and Forged did the motor, and then I went to PFS for the additional tuning, and to fix issues I had with the car. PFS is now my place.
Serious motor work/transmission work, tuning = PFS
Everything else is me...

The axles comment made me LOL...didnt surprise me though. Guy on my350 (NEXX) just got a triple carbon clutch and now he worried about his axles. IF I may ask are you still on stock axles, or the real question - how did you remedy this?
on everything else is you bro.. dang...I know it didnt happen overnight.. well worth the work you put into your baby..

The car has been a progression and a hell of an experience. I wasnt even going to mod it, all I wanted was a good handling car that could run 13's. Bone stock first time out I ran 13.86, 13.77, 13.80...then I was like "oh that was easy...maybe I'll try low 13's?"
And it progressed to NA, then single turbo, then built with twins
I have never broken a STOCK axle at the track even launching at 6000-7000rpm's. Then one day on the street on street tires Im giving a guy a ride (built setup) I hit it in 1st, spin and grab second gear...VROOOOMMM snapped the axle in half.
Then I ran stage 5 DSS axles and the outter hub backed out one time, and I somehow loosened up the cotter pin on the outter joint. Once I loctite the hubs and had an axle shop weld the cotter pin they have been great.
PRELOAD THE DRIVETRAIN and chances are you will be good to go off the line.
