Helllloooo everyone! I have been test-driving and online-drooling over various Z models for months...
Finally I sold my Audi and purchased a 2007 Enthusiast YESTERDAY (Silver Alloy w/black interior)... I'm going to cross the 8k mile mark tomorrow in this beast and I couldn't be more thrilled.
I stumbled here today because I know in the future it's mod city... Hopefully sooner than later. I look forward to future communication and sharing of ideas and techniques.

[quote=350ZMotoring;747438]This is the new welcome center....
Hey All... I am a newbie too... 2006.5 Silver GT Roadster (bought her used a few weeks ago (w/ less than 10k miles) and feel like I stole it)) This is likely the finest (most-spirited) filly I've ever layed spurs to... I was followed around the city by state troopers while merely test driving it. Just thought I'd say hello, hope to get to know some of you - and learn a few things... While its beautiful "As Is - as they say down south "Mods never hurt nobody!"
Have a good one... & DP

Darkpath, I lived in Williamsburg for a while and in Newport News in the mid 90's. Love the place but with all of those trees around, the troopers can hide everywhere. Love the new Z and welcome to site.

Scottd, nice ride I'm newbee after you. My home town is Wheatridge. Had to leave Colo cause I wanted to drive faster than the posted limit all of the time. I swear the cops had me lojacked and lost my licence there twice. They loved to ticket my 81 Z-28. Your new Z has got be be a blast in the snow.... well maybe. Have fun with the new ride

I cannot get over the sound of this thing... I just spent the day tinting it out and browsing the audio upgrade options at the local shop. This is going to be expensive

I agree, but well worth every dollar. As far as the sound of the Z, I can't think of a single stock car that sounds as good.

The stock exhaust sound from the Z is amazing for its price range. Nothing touches it but $100k+ exotics imo.
fyi, audio equipment is way cheaper on ebay. if you can find an installer that will install equipment you didn't purchase from their shop, that might be the way to go.

Oh yeah, $100k will buy you some very nice sound and 6mpg. But if you got it, spend it! I've heard before "The one who dies with the most toys Wins!!' I'm tryin my best.

I couldnt imagine paying $100k for just the car alone, and stock, regardless of the brand. I'd rather buy a $40k car and drop $60k in mods into it...haha.
