Bought a White 2008 Base 350Z this past weekend
So far I am loving it. Went up to Maine to get it cuz no one else had the white within 100 miles. My last two cars were an 02 GXE Sentra and an 05 Mazda 3I, so the horsepower jump is phenomenal. Going to try and take care of it as best I can. It'll be my daily driver except probably when it's snowing badly up here in MA, then I'll probably take my Dad's Altima.
Looking to wash and wax it this weekend. Such a beautiful car.

Congrats! I remember when my Z smelled new. I would go into the garage at night and just look at it. There was nothing like it. I had the 3rd in the state. Ordered it 6 months before the Z's were even out off of a picture. 5 years and $55k later I still find myself in the garage just looking at it; just now it smells like racefuel.

Congrats on the purchase and welcome to the site. When you can, I would think about getting a daily driver to help in the winters so you don't have to use the Z. It will make a big difference in it's care. The salt, sand and grime will take it's toll, especially on white.
I would also suggest you get a bra, Colgan Custom or clear bra ASAP. It will help protect the front of the car from chips immensly. Since yours is a daily driver the clear bra is a more practical choice but more expensive. In either case it is something worth getting now to protect your new baby.

Ungh. Can't I just ask the gods to take pity on my car?
But I think I will end up going with a Clear Bra. Though Should I have a shop install it or do it myself?

I would suggest having a shop install it. It will cost a little more than doing it yourself but a good shop will wrap the corners so the film lines are not visible except on the hood if you do like half the hood. You don't want to see where the film ends and the paint begins all over the place. It detracts from the look of the car. Make sure they wrap the edges so it goes around them and not just stops at them. It will look much better. If you do the front bumper and half your hood it will probably run you about $600 or $700.
Good luck!

Looks good. Some daylight pictures would make it look even better. Your camera is compensating for there not being enough light by raising the ISO which gives it that grainy/noisy look.
