Could this be fixed?

And if so, how much do you guys think it would run me?

are you a DIY kinda guy? I have a couple links I could post. I fixed a couple of my curbed track wheels. Pretty easy if you have done any body/spray work before. Even of the backyard variety.

You are gonna have to smooth it down then color match and respray it. My dad had a guy do his wheel (same exact damage) for $50 and it took him about an hour. You cant even tell the difference.

I'm not too handy with that sort-of stuff, would it be better just to pay a shop to do it. Or is it so easy a retard could do it?

Well, if you want it to be fixed right so that spot it flush with the wheel and matches in color, have it done. Not that you couldnt do it, but they have all the right equipment that not everyone has laying around there garage. I would'nt find a shop to do it, they may charge too much, but alot of higher end dealerships like BMW and mercedes have a guy come in every week or so to repair damaged rims. Go into one of those dealers service centers and ask them, I'm sure they wouldnt mind giving you his number. The guy who did my dads car used to go into BMW once a week and fix all the curbed wheels. He came to our house with a truck full of all his equipment, and repaired it right there in the driveway. There all going to run you about the same price, around $50, give or take, and IMO its a small price to pay becasue like I said, you cannot even tell it was ever damaged.

I guess you didn't believe me when I told you this could be repaired and to find a local wheel repair shop. Tire stores that sell rims are also a good palce to check for repairs of rims. That is definately repairable and I would let someone else do it so it. It doesn't cost that much and if they screw it up you can get them to fix it at no charge. That won't be the case if you try it yourself and screw it up. Its not worth it for the small amount it costs to have something like that fixed.
