Borla upgrade complete
So I finally got the cat-back installed. It was kind of a horror story, but not important at the moment. The sound is unbelievable. I'm not sponsored by borla nor am I being paid by them, everyone should get it lol. I started reading some negative feedback AFTER I bought it so I got skeptical, but those worries went away real fast when I turned the ignition. I'll get pics up later

Congrats on the install. Don't know what issues you had with yours but mine went smoothly. I love my Borla exhaust and have had it on since 2004 without any issues. Glad you like it.

What kind of negative feedback? I'm looking for exhaust also and leaning towards the Injen titanium. I like the "dual pipe" and have listened to tons of sound clips. Borla does sound real nice and makes pretty good gains from the research I've done.

The horror stories from the install were just ridiculous. My suspension was tilter to the left about 2 degrees and ended up halting my install. I couldn't get the pipes in and the stock one was already rubbing. I had to take it to the dealership and wait 3-4 days for them to readjust it. Appearently, when my brother drove my car to California, he went drifting for a weekend in some small competition and really ****ed with my suspension. What's wierd is I didn't have problems or any notification from Nissan between 300-12,000 miles from all the service I've done. They only noticed it when I told them I had a problem. It was under warranty, but the fact that I didn't have a daily driver for 3 days and I had an exhaust sitting in my garage kind of irritated me.
The negative feedback I got was it was too "tame" and that the gains were actually negative. I did more research and emailed the people with those "negative" gains and found out they hadn't installed them correctly or they had not been taking care of their Z's and other cars. I noticed a gain right when I put it into Drive. My Z never snapped my head back, but now it does that. I love it and I'm never looking back haha.
By the way, Rob, what did you use again to polish those tips?

Glad you like the sound, I know many who agree, myself included although I don't have one. As far as snapping your head back a Borla might get you 10 HP, not exactly FI power. But that's OK too. I feel the same after installing Crawford headers and cats.

the topsepeed pro 1 is the rip of of the invidia pro1 which is like a 150 dollar difference in price.. i just ordered the invidia figured i like the sound much better alot louder and its got the name .. ended up paying 630$ for everything its in the mail.... the video he has the long tube headers just like me .. which has rasp but im going to order the xyz pipe from motorydyne which is a y pipe with an easy changable resognator to kill raspp... which is perfect because the invidia is only a y back it doesn't include a y pipe.. that pro1 topspeed is the same thing y back
i was looking at the pro 1 topseepd too man but figured id spend the extra 100-200$ more and get the better quality name brand... plus i think it sounds better..
i did hours uppon hours of listening to clips and thats the 1 i got.. good luck

I'm working on the video. Wife lost the cords to connect it to the pc and she also lost the adapter for my MS pro duo card =/.
The sound is quite noticeable lol. You won't be disappointed.

Are you talking about just the tips or how I polished the muffler? For just cleaning the tips I use Meguiars mag and aluminum polish. Smells like cinimmon and works great!
Here are a few shots of my muffler...
