You have got to be kidding me lol....4th thread of same topic in the past week! Search or look in the previous threads and you will see everybody agrees on our performance cars you should not go above 19....so 19 or less, don't do 20. It is your car so you do what floats your boat...but everybody will say no to 20s and do 19s or less..
Good luck and welcome

Yep, Im somewhat of a new member. Just got my Z a few months ago. Have been wrangling with the same question and the consensus is 18s or 19s.
I've finally decided on some 19 inch TSW Jarama wheels. 19 x 8 up front and 19x9.5 in the azz.
Then either 245/35 or 255/35 up front and 275/35 or 285/35 in the back.
Just heard back from one of the online distributors that the TSW wheels will work fine with the TPMS

they look nice, good choice IMO. 19s are the best all around size for looks + performance becuase, while they dont perform quite as well as 18s (pretty close though), they look BA!

20's are toooo big IMO. They make the car look retarded because the 350z is not a big car and if you have huge wheels they just look out of proportion.

Im going to puke if I see another "20' " thread .
anyone who likes to ride around town feeling every bump, crevice and rough spot should get 20 inch WHEELS.
TO the guy who thought rims=wheels
Rims do not equal wheels. So please for the love of god, stop calling them rims /~endrant~\
I personally think you shouldn't go any bigger than 18's all around or if you really must 19's in the back 18's up front. 18's are bad enough on the street but I definatly dont want to get in a Z with 19' or god forbid 20' (eeek)

20's - will look good IF you buy the right spec/offset.
8.5 front, 9.5 rear specs are for RX8 not 3 fiddy z.
Here is an example of the right 20" wheels with the right aggressive spec/offset for our beloved 3fiddy z:
NOTE: lowering the car plus a body kit helps the visual aspect out a lot

Well - from someone who has 19" all around... I tend to agree with some who are ranking on them... They do look BA and everyone comments on how tyte they are... but from a driving perspective... I think (And FEEL) the car felt sportier with the stockers on it. The smaller diameter turns one rev in a shorter distance... So the same get up and go on 19s make you feel like if you were on 18s that you would have already got up and left....
So the rule of thumb is if you are going to set your car up for the track - STAY 18s... if you are setting up your car for showing... Like I am - Then 19s are the way to go... Still enough rubber and sidewalls to make for a comfortable ride - and I might be going out on a limb here - but any 19" tire will give you a better ride than a Potenza IMHO..

That's a very good point Stogey. It just seems like no one ever asks the question like that. "Hey, I'm wanting to get new rims, lower my car, slap a body kit on it" ... ETC
They normally just want rims.

No, those are freakin' 22's or something. look @ the rim to fender ratio. The rim's practically touching it. Your pic Stogey has like 2'' from the fender. Is he on bags?
