My local nissan dealer they are bunch of idiots
man since i got my replacement HID 8,000K light bulbs man it was so much hell lol. I went to nissan , they put it on good. I dont drive the car cuz it was friday and me and my girlfriend left for fort wayne indiana. Her sisters live there. I get back night time sunday its nice i want to cruise the vision sucks. I go outside and see the lights on the side they are facing upwards. I go to nissan next day they say sorry work on it and say for free even tho the first time i payed ****ing $92 bucks. The guy tells me we can not put it on because they can not fit they are not the original ones. I said this is not ebay bought its a legit website. He said only normal stock ones will fit. So i waited until the weekend meaning now. I was off today and i decided to do it myself. OHhh i asked him how they did it, they did not even take the rim of. Idiots. So I do it today and take the rim off the plastic around and see it . I open up the white circle protection cap and the light is sideways with the hinges not being applied. I put it on in 2 tries I got the lights to fit perfect . Same with the other side. F.. ing Collins Nissan.
I will post pics up later, but should I do something about this, tell anyone or ...?

LOL, you should go back to the dealership and show them that you were able to do it and it wasn't that complicated.
also, tell them only an rtard would believe that aftermarket lights can't fit a 350Z! good to hear you sorted it out!

I wouldn't even bother going back. You already determined they are a bunch of morons, talking to them and showing them anything isn't going to make one bit of difference. It isn't going to accomplish a thing so just let it be.
At least it happened with something you could correct yourself and now you know to NEVER take your car to that dealer again for anything.
That's why I do as much as possible myself. There are not to many people who will pay as much attention to your vehicle as yourself. When I do need to take it to a dealership (recall), I stayed all day and stood at the bay door watching every thing they did. They knew I was there to and by golly gee, they were very, very careful. At one point they even brought me into the shop to show me the car torn appart. I had to have the fuel hoses replaced on a recall which meant removing the entire rear suspension and entire exhaust system.

You aren't supposed to have the sales department try & put head lights in... you're supposed to let the service department take care of it lol Call those punks out. There are 2 dealers here in Houston with in 15 miles of each other & they're night & day. One sucks & one is great.

Get the money back. If they refuse report them to the Better Business Bureau. If they could not do the installation, they should not have given the car back to you without putting the old lights back in and making them work. You have the proof that the HIDs fit, so that is not a valid argument.
Then again, it is only $92 and you may need these guys some day for warranty work or whatever (not sure how many other dealers are near da 'Ville).

Nissan corporate call? Maybe you can complain and get them to straighten out that dealership.

Man be careful...stealerships will JACK YOU..I am on my 3rd tranny I got thru the premium warranty and when my clutch was goin out i asked them if they could put in a aftermarket clutch and liteweight flywheel...they didnt give me an answer for a day or so then was like..OHH YA SURREEE NO PROBLEM!...I jus realized that I just dug a grave for my warranty, as soon as my tranny starts messin up and I go to them..theyll say. Oh well because of your aggressive clutch and flywheel set up, that was the cause of the tranny failing and stick me with the damn bill!!!!
At least thats my paranoia kickin in with holding my warranty :L
