The website still says the 9th, but I swear I got an email saying it was changed (I am out of town most of the month, so it doesn't affect me either way). PM PerfZ - the PreZ will know.
How's the new springs and struts?

So my Z has been sitting at the shop since last Monday, was told 3-5 days to complete...OK so I gave them 5, went down to columbus, sat in the shop for 7 hours...only to be told its not gonna be done till Monday! I had to take one for the team, so I got stuck in Cbbus with no ride, Monday roles around and Dustin picks me up around 2 and takes me to the shop. To my suprise, its was DONE and RUNNING! (Keep in mind it wasnt dyno'd yet...) well at about 4 pm a stupid fookin civic gets on the dyno. Now normally it would only take 1-2 hours to quick tune right?? HELL NO, not this civic. 1130PM!!! I finally got to get my Z on the dyno. *This is where the magic happened* As he begins the first pull, only got up to about 5 psi, we hear this mystical sound *tink tink tink tink tink tink tink tink tink tink tink tink tink tink tink tink tink tink tink tink tink tink tink tink tink tink tink tink tink tink tink tink tink tink tink tink tink tink* What is it you ask. A muther fookin rod bearing! Or so they think....SOOOOOOO now that we are all caught up. I'm back home without the Z. They are going to have to pull the engine out of the car and find the problem. Oh and did I mention that I have to pay if full for this repair!? Does that sound right to you? The shop said its not their fault and they arent paying for it. I'm just at such a loss of words it makes me sick, so far I have tallied up 6,500 dollars....its gonna cost me around 1,000 just to pull and re install the engine, thats not including the repair parts.......****!

Damn dude, I'll keep my fingers crossed that everything starts going a little smoother for you. Good luck with everything and keep us in the loop. I'm heading out of town for a few days, so I hope its all good by the time I get back.
