sounds like you are a true car enthusiast and not a fanboy, so welcome to the site!
considering that the Z you ran was yellow it could only be a 2005 as that was the only year they had yellow on a 350Z, also known as "Millennium Yellow".
I have to say, the 2008-9 cobalt SS really caught me by suprise with how fast it is in the turns beating out plenty of more expensive cars aroun a test track. for FWD that is impressive.
though, I did hear that there may not be a colbalt SS for 2010...any truth behind that? Seems like just when they got the car dialed in they are cutting it.

yes i think they are going to get rid of it and replace it with a car called the chevy cruise. Looks like a chevy aveo to me lol. and thanks for the welcomeing sometimes thats hard to get these days.did they make any turbo or supercharged 350 zs? i know that they mostly have a 3.5 v6 in them thay are powerfull moters i bet on a n/a 3.5 you could put down atleast 350 whpwith full bolt ons and cams.i know i would like to have one ,i hate fwd but the cobalt was a desent bang for the buck.

Hey congrats if you are putting down 290+ hp to the ground...that is very modified...that is great. What does a Cobalt ss/sc have stock...200 at the flywheel...right? With 290+ on the ground, that means ur are 330 or so at the flywheel and you car weighs...2900 lbs? nice ...i would expect you to beat a stock convertible by quite a bit. I am also sure if u got that big of a jump on him, he just backed off. Good kill.

It's Ultra Yellow. I think you're thinking of the Corvette Yellow "Millennium yellow".

A gender confused ricer with a Z in his hands, so many stickers, a NISMO sticker of all stickers on a soft top makes the car look gender confused also. Hey Fast Cobalt do us all here a great favor and beat those a$$ faced Z drivers every time you see them. thanks.
