whose says their is no replacement for displacement
This guy i work with has a 5.0 mustange, and (its not crap he takes care of his stuff)ever sence i got my car i've been trying to get him to run me.
Well he finally did, first run i left the vdc on and he got a little jump on me but stayed right beside him.
Run two, took the VDC off and dusted him.

If it's a stock 5.0, then they were rated at about 245hp at the factory (not wheel HP either). I'm not surprised your Z beat the Mustang.

If you can't beat a Mustang (stock), then you have issues ;-p
Also, don't compare a low tech 5.0 v8 to a high tech 3.5 v6....apples n' oranges.
A cobalt SS will spank a Mustang 5.0...I used to do it in a 87 Shelby Charger GLH-S 2.2 liter turbo

im going to run my friends 93 fox body thats pushing 385 to the wheels with a gear change. its quick off the line but im thinking i can get some traction and i know my 0-60 is close to his time. but still....its a mustang so who cares

my buddy has a late 90's stang gt 5.0 L. we kinda had a quick run thru 3rd gear, i roasted him. he said his clutch needs to be replaced then it would be a different story
