Another mustang down
Ill give him enough to say he hung on through the turns. Twas an older model mustang 93-99 model with AT LEAST a cat-less exhaust, (could smell that damn thing like it was a diesel)
Good open highway with three wide twisties, which I learned could accommodate my 350z at 110 mph with ease. I honked three times and we took off. Got him to kiss my bumper (not literally) then we hit the first turn at 105, my territory. Slowed to 95 to allow him to catch up and he did! He hung about one car length behind me going about 110. The next two turns were all mine. The final stretch he actually pulled me on me outta the turn, then the high end power boost from my beautiful sounding bassani, took charge and led me to 119 where i finally cut it. we waved. I wanted to ask him what was under the hood, but he looked pissed so I continued on home.
This literally happened about 45 minutes ago. im not proud of going so fast on the highway, but what a rush and what a kill. Though it was predictable.

Good kill and it is quite the rush. Its really funny that I've been looking for a good car to run that I have run in the past ever since I put the test pipes in. I wanna see if theres a noticeable difference. Haven't gotten one though lol
I'm wondering what mustang you ran because the years you listed are 3 different body types. 93 is a boxy fox body but those can be killer and nicely done. They usually are not nicely done up though. Then there's 94-98 and then 99 is the body style before the redesign of the new ones.

I couldnt really tell. i guess i dont know my mustangs very well. I googled mustangs to try and point it out and I would say it closely resembled the 99-04 styles? not sure if it was a gt, cobra or whatever twas too dark.

99-04 GT most likely. A pre-99 would have to be pretty modded to keep up with you. The only mustang i've been in was a 95 GT with the 5.0, and it just rode like crap. Mustangs aren't known for their handling. The GT500 is supposed to do okay though.

Look at your power curve after mods. Try 7k next and see if it goes quicker.

You sir, suck.
You didn't call me to have a little fun? lol
I remember those days when driving my 300ZX NA 2+2 and racing every Mustang I came across. Amazing what the Z32 can do with a proper driver.
