Updated Pics 800hp For Sale
Well the time has come I'm trying all I can to keep the car because it runs perfect, is a monster, and only has 1400 miles on a fully built motor...But I'm going to close escrow on my first house and getting ready to get married and I'm worried about my finances now....So this is just a feeler but the car is an 03 track with 19000 total miles and only 1400 on a brand new built engine....I will be back to the modding game with a new GTR when it comes out but for now I need to focus on my life and not my car ...
APSTT 23lbs boost

wow, I've seen a lot of your posts and you definitely have probably the best built Z around...Sucks that you might have to sell it but I would think this thing would be better off on Ebay or something rather than a forum. Good Luck with the sale!

Lemme get this straight....you are selling this awesome car because you are buying a house and getting married (good reason, I guess I can sorta see that), and need to get your finances in order. Then, you say you will be buying a GTR when that comes out. HUH???! That's like trading in a old Honda CRX you bought at a buy-here-pay-here and getting a Porsche Cayenne for the lower payments. Makes no sense to me. Why don't you keep the Z, and just make it work? Unless you have a car already, you'll need to buy another anyway. And the way car prices are these days, what will you be saving? 80 to 100 bucks a month? Not a major deal. But then you want to buy a GTR and pay $1000 a month? Doesn't sound like a good idea to me.
Keep the Z, bite the bullet, and then if you have kids I'd say that might be a good reason to sell it to get a family car.
I think your car kicks ass, and I know you'll regret it when you slip behind the wheel of your new Hyundai Santa Fe. GAH! Once you get married, buy a house and start raising a family, unless you are really succesful you are probably not going to be seeing a $70k plus sports car in your future. You'll be looking at Expeditions, other SUV's, and maybe a Maxima. But don't do anything hasty right now. Of course, I'm telling you all this without knowing how much you pay a month for the Z, what your fiance is telling you to do, etc. But just based on what you said in your initial post, I wouldn't get rid of the car. You'll regret it and you'll be sorry later when you realize you can't get another fun car for years.

Good point...But for the direction my life is heading now I don't have a need for a race car....My car is perfect for a single guy... not a guy in my position...

I don't think bigbri came to his decision easily and whoever would end up buying the car I think would take good care of it. I'm not sure how much the car will end up going for. Selling $30k of mods for $25k added with a $25k car is well, it's hopefull. Modded cars sell for crap. That's why me and my wife won't allow me to sell my Z if I thought it was the best move. However, I have several other options to exhaust before selling my Z comes into my head.
Good luck to you bigbri, it probably is the best thing to get a good house that'll appreciate and have some stability money available for being married cause you never know what might happen. For sure expect to drop some money on some nice furnature and decorative stuff cause every wife's gotta have that stuff
thanks for pioneering your setup with reving to 8000rpms etc
