Possible rear axel ticking solution!?!?
While i was changing my exhaust ive noticed this suspension part shown in the picture that i have no idea what it is or does... but it looked cracked and like it was spewing some sort of oil everywhere ... could this be the cause of the infamous rear axel ticking? what is this part?

Hi Bones,
Your pic is very close-up so it is hard to see what it is. Can't you give us a more general view, maybe it helps.

sorry guys i only took that one picture that picture is from the rear of the car.. and you can see the spring in the backround... i found it when i took off my stock muffler.. i think the stock muffler might be hiding it or it might jsut be in behind it.... if you just stick your head under the car and look you should see it its close....

well first off i live in new york... one of the most expensive places in the U.S. no arguments please its just true... second off i bought it 8 months ago... but since the economy is doing so bad ive seen Zs selling for dirt cheap.. nobody wants to buy cars and sellers are dropping prices..... when i bought my Z i could NOT find a Z for under 16-17 Grand.. and i got this track edition for 14.7k with 97k miles so it was in my price range.... i bought it cash so i had a budget... but that was the cheapest Z i could find at the time... but the mileage man???? thats more of a bragging right than something to be scared of the Z
the is all highway miles (reciepts proven) the car was driven from texas to conneticut by some old dude.... the car runs immaculet and i have the videos to prove it...
the way my z runs.... the milage is just a number on the dashboard and nothing more :P
im not even ashamed to tell peoplen the milage.. it just means the Z is more experienced hahahah
