Our proxy admins are one step ahead of you. That is blocked too. Our proxy is one of those "intellegent" ones that uses shared lists. Argh, I hate it.
I used to start a terminal session tunneled on telnet port to my home server. From there, I could hit any site I wanted. Then for some reason (I wonder why) they blocked the telnet port which used to be open. I figure they finally noticed the multiple MB frames being sent over telnet.

Damn, well there are a number of anonymous web surfing sites ( http://www.anonymization.net), surely they didn't catch them ALL. That is interesting though, do you know what proxy they are using?

Use ssh tunneling, different port, and I doubt they will disable that one. If i'm in desperate need I ssh tunnel to my rig at home and use a VNC program to use my browser at home to view stuff. But if you just set up an ssh tunel it should work.
