Just got my bonus...it was shock. I can't state how big of a shock, but I expect to have a nice car in the near future paid upfront.

When I first started out, I set the record for the most daily and quarterly profit/production for my area (we are talking 6+ million a day here) in the history of the company I worked for (not anymore). I got a $100 bonus and an increase to 8 bucks an hour even though I oversaw 62 people plus floaters through 5 production modules (only counting 1 for the record) and trained techies coming out of the Navy/Air Force how to troubleshoot PCBs, etc (because I knew the logic of over 2000 motherboards we produced). The techs made $14+ an hour and when they couldn't figure out an issue, they came to me. I also kept the books. 14 hours a day - 7 days a week. I had to report to the President of the company (this is no small operation) 3 times a day to give status. I got wise and 7 months later I'm making $24 an hour as a network technician and it blossomed from there. If you have certain Efficient Networks, Nortel, Bay Networks, Hughes, Cisco, etc from the late 90s...chances are very good I at least touched it. I kept Efficient Networks in business (they almost sank right off the bat) by producing the first 500 production DSL modems (by hand) on Christmas day when the rest of the company was on company holiday. I still have my Efficient Networks DSL modem...anytime I use DSL, I switch to it because it's the fastest for some reason (2WIRE sucks). I got hired as a developer (with no code writing ability) from a dot com, went on to final QA testing, datacenter hosting, and my partime gig in security went full time about six years ago.
Ok, that's the story of my life - I'm done

On another note, I'm trying to get passed the fact that the G8 GT has 4 doors. If I can just do that, I'll get one. But the four door thing is bothering me.

Yeah I agree about the 1 series looks. It's got to be the ugliest car in BMW's current lineup. The motoring in the 135i is a good motor though.
I like the G8. Don't they offer a GXP?

Nope, better...marketing GOLD!!
Kia pulled them from TV to make the next sales pitch of the newer cars more serious. The people LOVE the Hamsters, so Kia is bringing out a new commercial later this month. Can't wait to see it!!

I believe the commercials stopped in May or June.
Nice ride, so many features in mine (5spd Plus model): Sirius radio, boom-boom sub with the upgraded stereo (yep, came with the lighted speakers too), 6 airbags, traction control, extra braking when needed, exteneded warrenty!!! Wheeeeee.....I'm sure I forgot something. Also seats 5 grown peeps and two small dog carriers at the same time!

It's Kia's AM/FM/MP3/SAT Audio system with 6 speakers and I/P mounted tweeters. There's a sub in the rear and I finally have bass in my DD! I really enjoy plugging in my i-pod too. I heard that you can use the iPhone with it too.
