out of all the streetracing videos i've seen on youtube or streetfire...this is definately within the top 10 vids i have ever watched. just look how close the car gets to the bikers when he gt3 looses control...these people were super lucky and so reckless...they could have EASILY lost their lives.....

How many of us would not do the exact same thing if we were say... superman and could not get hurt (including the bikers)

Yea its stupid...... but really... how many of us would not gladly do 150+ on the Autobahn if we could?

This video i assume was in the Autobahn.. its legal there. The only real bad thing i see is the GT3 driver being so close to the bikers. Then again don't nascar drivers get even closer? What makes THEM ok?

Stupid?? i just dont feel right calling them stupid if its legal and we all know that we would all do the same thing if we were ever in the Autobahn!

If you reply at me by something like "its still stupid and i would never do it". OK yes a small amount of car lovers would still not do it. But REALLY? you are going to sit there and tell me that the reason we dont do this in the U.S. is safety, and NOT because its elegal?

Bro, ok look i was born and raised in germany. Just because its on the autobahn doesnt mean that you can go as fast as possible. There are certian sections where there is no speed limit and thats only because the section is a perfect straight away and contains NO TURNS as in this video. The freeways are 4 feet thick and smooth as hell. Also, there arent as many exits and freeways merging. Here in California, there is too much traffic, the freeways arent smooth, there are too many exits and onramps..

Yes i understand that. But the point i am trying to make is that we in the U.S. don't do such "recless driving" not because its dangerous but because its illigal.
If we could get away with it, we would do it in a heartbeat. I dont man ALWAYS but non the less, we would.

I think I understand your point, but it's not whether or not we could but rather if we should. We all saw the GT3 go slightly sideways ( @0:54 secs). As close as he was to those bikers if he doesn't recover there would have been a multi fatality accident. Most of us are not afraid of speed, but the reality is that here in the US most drivers can't drive for $hit!!! If they get panicked all hell can break loose. That's why as drivers of high performance vehicles WE have to take full responsibilty for ourselves AND the idiot drivers on the road.

Yes but wont you agree that our fears of high speed are only truly pressent because we have a speed limit? I mean the speed limit is 75 mph. Sense it has been burned into our minds and Speed Dogooders have demonised speeding over the limit, thats why we consider 100mph as "stupid". Yet we all know that if the speed limit today and in the past had been 100mph we would not be afraid of such speed. My point is that safety is truly the last thing in our minds. We just follow and push the law. If safety was the #1 thing in our minds then everyone would still drive 55mph even thow it got changed to 65 oh fwy.

Remember that one day we were going 55 mph (limit) and someone passed us at 65 mph? I bet we all called him a stupid idiot. yet when the limit was changed it was suddenly ok and safe..

Actually, it isn't legal on the Autobahn. You can get pulled over for going 55mph there. I used to live in Germany and for the most part you can speed, but you can't go as fast as you want and you can be given a ticket if a police officer feels you are endangering other drivers or even yourself. If it's foggy/snowing and you are doing 55mph on the autobahn, you can be pulled over if the police thinks that speed, in that moment, at that condition - is reckless.

There was way too much traffic for what they were doing and they took chances a NASCAR driver wouldn't take. For what? I doubt there was any purpose to this other than to make the video. If the bikers or the Porsche driver is willing to risk getting Killed I am OK with that, but there were a lot of other drivers on that road who had a right to live free from the danger these idiots were putting them in. I wonder where this was filmed, it doesn't look like it was in the USA.
