Whats up everyone. Just picked up a 2008 White 350 Enthusiast today. Loving it already. Cant keep my foot out of it. Go figure, right. But after less than 3 hours of having it I hate the stereo. I have an Apline 9853 with 420i iPod controller and Sirius that I took out of the Accord. My questions are:
1) Has anyone personally installed anything similar to the above components?
2) If so, how hard was it and how long are we talking?
3) Other than Car Toys, any recommended shops in the DFW area. Mainly HEB area.
I'm also planning on replacing all the stock speakers, unless the new head unit really brings out something special. Suggestions.

the only car audio shops close to heb i can think of are off denton highway or in the watuaga/nrh area.
this is one of the better shops i could find. they also had alot of good reviews from customers.

I went to Car Toys in Hurst yesterday, have had good service there previously. Only going to be about $225 to install the head unit iPod controller and Sirius. See how much that helps the sound, but at least it will save me from the shitty radio around here. Also really liked the Infinity Components, think those are on christmas list for myself.

From the site.. I couldnt help it. Had to get these...

Camber is adjusted using shims, which simplifies camber adjustment and reduces installation errors. Camber adjustment range is -2.5deg to +1deg relative to stock arm; most cars will see actual on-car camber adjustment range of -4deg to -0.5deg, depending on ride height. Off-car adjustment of +/- 1 deg of caster can be set independently of camber.

SPL fronts are in and Im finished with my TOE bolts and Camber Arms for the rear. Im so glad I got that over with..I saved my template for the TOE bolts and got the BALLER dremel piece thats needed so if anyone needs it done - come over and I will hook it up for some beer.
Right now Im working with a friend who is making a hidden towing hitch that I can use for my events (drift/auto-x) - will post pics later when its completed. It will be COMPLETELY hidden even with my bumper tuck. Im stoked to get it cause there is an event this month that I want to attend. It will be able to hold 4 sets of rims. WOOT!

If its major - check these guys out - they are in tulsa and seem solid.
Failsafe Performance
Will post before and after action...I have a dyno before I did any mods and now I get to do one with ALL my mods.. Eh, Im not getting my hopes up. If I get 10-15 extra ponies I am going to be happy.
I charge beer for smalll jobs like brakes/rotor, exhaust, piddly stuff...if its clutch or LSD install..well...thats different.. and owner has to partake.. I like for them to learn and see what its all about.. Beer brakes inbetween of course..

Damn dude, i never even knew about failsafe. Specializing in the vq. Yeah, I would def. like to learn as much as possible. DFW aint all that far from okc, so that plus beer would probably be cheaper than pro install. But you're a pro so its all gravy
