Installation wasn't too hard. I installed this using ramps in the rear and 2 jack stands in the front. The install took me about 2 hours with an extra set of hands. Most of that time was spent removing the stock exhaust. After I installed the exhaust I noticed a had an intermitent rattle. It turned out to be the right rear hanger just before the muffler. The problem was the metal hook for the exhaust was hitting the stock metal bracket which the rubber hanger bolts to. A simple readjustment of the piping clearance took care of the problem. Other then that 1 problem everything worked out great.

All I have to say is buy one and you will understand. Does not make a raspy sound with the rt cats like some of the other exhaust do.

I'm thinking about installing that exhaust system. How is the sound like? Louder than Stock?

Looks good, Sounds good , and Performs well
Cons:
Too many parts in kit, Not loud enough for some
I love the Borla cat back system. It weighs less, adds noticable power and looks good. You can't see it in the ads, but the exhaust tips have the Borla logo embosed on them. The sound is not any louder than stock at idle or cruising speeds, but it sounds bad ass when you get on it. (Perfect for the guy that has out grown the louder is faster stage).

Relatively easy installation. Great deep sound.
Cons:

Removing the old exhaust from the rubber hangers
The installation was very straight forward. The sound at idle is very mellow, but when you give it the gas, it really rumbles. Very impressive. From the seat of my pants, I can tell a positive increase in hp. I will be getting it on the dyno soon to see some real numbers.

Pros:

Improved gas milage, deeper tone, improved look, lighter than stock
Cons:
I love this exhaust system. It has a deeper tone and sounds great when you get on it. While cruzing on the highway or at idel it is barly noticable. It looks great with bigger chrome dual baffled tips which are more flush with the rear bumper instead of slightly under it like stock. I had it installed which took a few hours but it was well worth it for me rather than crawling around on my back. No leaks rattles or vibrations.
An added bonus was the inrease in gas milage for me. When highway cruzing it appears I get one to two more miles per gallon. Strictly highway driving I seem to get close to 28MPG and combo driving over 26 when I used to get high 23 or 24mpg.
Great investment for the dollars and feels like a performance improvement too. According to other independant dyno tests, 8.2hp at the rear wheels.

Not as much power increase as Injen
I had the shop put the Injen SS on first and it added more power on the high end then the Borla; however, it was too loud and ricey. I went back the next day and they switched it out with the Borla true dual. I like it much better, great sound, good performance increase. Ideal upgrade for the roadster as it adds syle to a classy car!

right side hanger issue

i would reccomend this exhaust system to anyone who is looking for a true dual exhaust. combined with mt random tech racing cats, crawford hi-flo plenum, and k&n typhoon intake the throttle response was greatly improved. the hanger on the right side does rub against the bracket causing some vibration but a simple adjust ment fixes the problem

Not sure seeing improved MPG.

Free shipping at site where I made my purch. GREAT sound. I would say it mirrors a small block V8. Clips DO NOT do it justice. No ricey, cow-farting sounds like on some other exhausts. I notice an increase in volume, MUCH deeper note - the rumble is worth the price of admission. There is a NOTICEABLE increase in power. I am not feeling any decrease in the low end at all. (Also have a JWT pop-charger.) I will let you know if I agree on the MPG increase. Just installed & honestly - not seeing it. Seeing a decrease, actually. Will keep you posted. Computer could need tweaking, could need break in. Contact me with questions/suggestions on MGP decrease if you have any!!

Sound is deep and rich, not high and whiney. Quality is top notch, performance gain excellent. Perhaps not as much as SES, my butt dino couldn\'t tell)

Said I would post back with report on MPG. I would change my rating to a 9. There was some break in time and, had to reset ECU. And, of course, adjust the right foot action (blush.) Originally seeing MPG on trip go down as low as 5, 9 & 11 right after the mod. After about 3000 mi/3 month break-in & ECU reset, actually seeing improved MPG along the lines of 2-3 MPG. Trip has even read as high as 31 & 32 MPG on the hwy. I have been able to average 29 MPG on the hwy on several trips. I have not seen trip dip as low as 5, 9 nor 11 since break in & ECU reset. Around town, I am averaging 20 mpg. (Worse if I do some spirited driving... heh heh)

Hands down I\'d buy the Borla exhaust again. The sound is very good, but if you\'re looking for a loud exhaust... this isn\'t it. When you step on it, it does growl. Can definately tell there\'s an increase in HP. Taking off the stock exhaust took longer than installing the Borla, but I couldn\'t line up the tips. I had to get it alligned from a local auto shop; still not 100% perfectly alligned.
Anyway, I\'d buy it again for sound, HP and looks.
